Keeping our kids safe is something we take seriously. All volunteers working with children must comply with regulations for their respective state. The rules are simple, if you work with/intend to/may work with kids, then get it done for your state. You don’t need more than one state unless volunteering there for more than 30 days in a year.
Submit the WWCC or WWVP approval number with your dob to church clerk to have it confirmed as current.
Please contact the office if you have any questions or concerns.
NSW : You need to fill out the working with children check form, after which you will need to verify your identity at a registry.
ACT: You need to fill out the working with vulnerable people registration form, print and then visit a registry.
VIC: You need to fill out the working with children check form, and submit it with ID, and a passport size photo, and get your WWC check card, valid for 5 years
Thanks for helping keep our young people safe!
