“The Venetian carnival, is a well attended community event for the residents of the Narromine shire. It normally features market stalls, food vans, kids entertainment, local services stands, music etc. We see this as a great opportunity to outreach to the community in a casual setting where the addition of the Strong Man challenge would add to the fun atmosphere of the event. We would also plan to have some literature available and maybe involve Narromine Pathfinders in providing additional kids activities which will allow further opportunities to talk to families.”
